This photographic project marked the beginning of my artistic
practice. Developed at the age of sixteen during my Arts
Baccalaureate, it employs black-and-white portraiture as a means
of examining the individuality and diversity of non-human animals
while advocating for their recognition and rights.

The project was
undertaken in collaboration with animal shelters, rescue centres,
and animal welfare specialists, whose expertise and support
facilitated access to the subjects portrayed and informed the
development of the work.
