This photographic project investigates the everyday forms of coexistence
within a community of retired nuns living in shared housing outside the
convent. Through a situated and long-term engagement, it examines
collective care, mutual support, and the persistence of religious values
beyond institutional settings.

Focusing on daily life rather than ritual or spirituality, the work challenges conventional representations of ageing religious women and proposes a more nuanced visual narrative. Conceived as a photobook, the project unfolds through a carefully sequenced body of images that reflects the gradual development of familiarity between photographer, community, and viewer.
