Afterfire is a site-specific photographic intervention exploring the
material and symbolic memory of a wildfire-affected landscape. Through
long-exposure photography, light painting, and red-filtered flash, the
project employs light as an ephemeral medium to examine the
relationship between environmental trauma, human agency, and the
photographic act. Situated between landscape photography and
performative practice, the work investigates photography's capacity to
activate memory through temporary intervention
