This project takes the form of a site-specific urban scavenger hunt
across the city of Terrassa, in which QR codes are strategically
installed throughout the public space. When scanned, each code
reveals a macro photograph of a bacterial culture sampled from
the very surface on which the QR code is located, establishing a
direct relationship between the physical site and its otherwise
imperceptible microbial ecology

By integrating photography, microbiology, and urban exploration, the project critically examines the relationship between visibility and invisibility in the urban environment. It reveals the microbial ecologies embedded within everyday surfaces while transforming them into abstract landscapes that blur the boundaries between scientific imaging and artistic representation
