This photographic series originates from an observational exercise
based on traversing Barcelona within a single day, simulating the
experience of the traveller compelled to consume the city within a
limited period of time. In response to this impulse, the project
deliberately slows the gaze, shifting attention towards geometry,
rhythm, and the overlooked details embedded within the urban
landscape
Adopting a minimalist black-and-white aesthetic, the work privileges composition, light, and form over descriptive representation. By abstracting familiar locations, it questions contemporary modes of experiencing the city, reflecting on the tension between visual consumption and attentive observation.
